Business Case Study Competition: Advance IT Minnesota is pleased to announce its first annual Business Case Study Competition.  This competition is being held in response to our Industry Partners’ strong and ongoing need for tech-savvy graduates who have both strategic and tactical thinking capabilities as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
This competition is open to one team from each of MnSCU’s four-year institutions.  Teams are to be comprised of four upper division Information Technology students (Business, MIS, CS, CIS, and related majors).

Executive Briefings: Held to address hot topics in the IT Strategy and Security arenas with MnSCU faculty or other subject matter experts as facilitators. The nextBriefing will be scheduled for Winter, 2011.
The IT Strategic Effectiveness Workshop: a new innovative program designed to improve IT managerial success on the job. This 3 day instructor-led experience is designed for new and high potential candidates to focus their professional attention on strategic thinking and analysis, to align their goals to those of the business, and to improve their presentation skills. Look for an initial offerng early Spring 2011.
